The trauma Centre of DH Anantnag was set up in the year 2013 so as to augment the facilities for better care and treatment of trauma patients. DH Anantnag is an immediate referral hospital for trauma patients as the National highway passes through Anantnag .In addition to that it also caters adjoining areas of Kulgam, Ramban and Banihal The recent early management of injured yatra patients was possible only because of active and vibrant doctors and paramedics employed for the same. Inspite of being on the forefront for trauma patients the staff have not been paid their legitimately earned salary of last 20 months. It has not only demolarised them but their family members are also suffering for no fault of theirs. Dr Suhail Naik, President DAK to strong note of this humanitarian issue and stressed upon the authorities to release their salaries at the earliest so that justice is served (KNO)
